About Me
The idea behind this weblog is to have the newest information about my work up quickly and regularly. It will also be a way to know where I’m exhibiting next. I’ve been terrible about updating my website on a regular basis and my hope is that this is the way to do it. In a way this blog is an extension of my art book “Kiddography: The Art and Life of Tom Kidd.” Expect me to get on my soapbox on occasion and preach my philosophy of art and science. I’ll also show you some work in progress and do a step-by-step now and again. If you’d like to see a large ponderous amount of my work, you can go to my website.

Golly, that's lovely inkwork there!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend at IlluxCon (I assume you did go? My schedule did not allow another cross-country trip) - and I hope you share how it all went!
Your inks are getting better and better with each one you create, Tom! It looks like instantaneous work! They're classic and modern at the same time ...wonderful range of tones and superbly vigorous in the line-y energy. I couldn't say what living artist handles inks as well.
Wonderful work, Tom! Your inks are gorgeous. Another book added to my wishlist.
Beautiful ink work Tom! Reminds me of some of the great ink work done by Wrightson, but with a flair all your own. Now you are inspiring me to bust out some ink and delve into a medium I have far too long neglected. Thanks for sharing.
Incredible!!
very beautiful and inspired inkwork.
My best wishes, and see you soon,
from Argentina

PS: if you wish visit my blo, will be a pleasure for me!
Excellent. As a fan of Vance and of yours I must have this book. Same for StoneFather. Nice cover on that one.
Thanks all. It's been a tough couple of weeks dealing with STUFF! Why do I have so much stuff to deal with? Stuff always takes up tons of time.
Hey, I got more illustrations to do for this book today. I thought I was done. The never-ending job.
Illuxcon went well. My next post will be about it. I need to post Stonefather here too with some close-ups. Subterranean sent me a box of copies to me so it's definitely out now.
Man, that is awesome, a beautiful drawing.
Wow, unbelievably well done pen and ink. It's a dying art, and it's nice to see there's still a few guys that could have given Cole a run for his money.
